IIM-46230High-Performance SmartIndustrial™ 6-Axis MotionTracking® MEMS Device for Industrial ApplicationsThe IIM-46230 is a 6-axis MotionTracking device that combines multiple 3-axis gyroscopes and 3-axis accelerometers packaged in a module that is approximately 23 × 23 × 8.5 mm and includes a standard 20 pin connector interface. The IIM-46230 module is based on Multi Inertial Measurement Unit(MIMU) concept, utilizing 6 of the same industrial 6-axis IIM-42652 sensors. The performance of the thermal related specification was improved by performing custom thermal calibration for every module in the temperature range (-40 to 85°C). The module utilizes a very low PPM oscillator to improve stability of the clock. The noise and bias instability of the module is improved by improving the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of the measure. The IIM-46230 supports SPI and UART communication with easy to use protocol. There is provision to prove UTC clock as a command and provide PPS signal from the GPS for the IMU to lock to the sampling time stamp to the UTC time. The IIM-46230 includes multiple capabilities to enable easy, robust and accurate inertial measurements in Industrial applications, and features an operating voltage range from 3.6 V down to 3.0 V. |

Bridge GNSS outage and provide terrain compensation inputs during normal operation in various agricultural environments, particularly for equipment navigation, guidance, and positioning.
