Joseph Bousaba

Chief Executive Officer

Joseph Bousaba leads TDK MEMS Sensors Business Group and serves as CEO of InvenSense, leading the company’s growth and strategic direction, and strengthening its position as a global leader of MEMS Sensing solutions serving Consumer, Mobile, IoT, Industrial, and Automotive applications. Since joining TDK in 2019, he has held key leadership roles including Chief Business Officer, GM of Motion and Pressure and Emerging Sensors Business Units, and President of TDK Chirp Microsystems. Previously, he was VP of Consumer IoT and Smart Home at Qualcomm, where he built a multi-hundred-million-dollar business. His earlier experience includes leadership roles at Qualcomm Atheros and Philips Semiconductors.  

Joseph holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. 

Pavan Gupta

Chief Operating Officer

Pavan Gupta joined TDK InvenSense in December 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to joining, Pavan served as a Director of Hardware Engineering at Apple. During his 6 years at Apple, Pavan led the development of Touch and Force sensing technologies on several generations of iPhones and Air Pods. Prior to that, Pavan spent 10 years at SiTime, a leader in MEMS timing space, growing into the role of Vice-President of Operations where he oversaw SiTime’s worldwide fabless manufacturing, logistics and planning, product and test engineering, and quality and reliability. Pavan has also worked at other MEMS-based companies including FormFactor and NanoGear, Inc. (formerly C Speed Corp). He started his career at IBM.

Pavan received his MS from Stanford University and BS from UCLA, both in Mechanical Engineering. He holds 19 patents on topics ranging from MEMS, packaging, haptics, and force sensing.

Steve Berry

Chief Financial Officer

Steve Berry is the Chief Financial Officer of InvenSense, a TDK group company, and the MEMS Sensors Business Group of TDK. With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, he has guided finance organizations across private startups and publicly traded companies. His expertise includes accounting, financial planning and analysis, technical accounting, SEC reporting, and leading multimillion-dollar debt and equity financings. Steve has also provided executive oversight across IT, HR, Legal, and facilities, bringing a broad operational perspective to corporate strategy and growth. 

Before joining InvenSense, he held senior financial roles at NeoPhotonics (acquired by Lumentum), Mode Media, Symmetricom (acquired by MicroSemi), and Cirrus Logic. He began his career at Ernst & Young in Silicon Valley. Steve holds a BS from UC Davis and an MBA from California State University, East Bay, and is a licensed CPA (inactive)

Omar Abed

Chief Technology Officer

Omar Abed is CTO of InvenSense, leading innovation for next generation MEMS sensor products and generating strategy for ensuring competitive advantage and technology leadership. Prior to serving as CTO, Omar led TDK Invensense as President & CEO and led the Microphone Business Unit helping to drive the business for innovation and high growth. Before joining TDK, Omar led TE Connectivity’s $300M pressure sensor business as GM & VP. Previously, he was President & CEO of SMI, transforming the company to multiple years of double-digit growth before its acquisition. His earlier experience includes roles at Analog Devices and Kavlico Corporation, driving MEMS strategy and ultra-low-power sensor design. 

He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Analog & RF Circuit Design) from USC and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School through the PLD program. Omar holds seven patents across several MEMS technologies. 

Shauna Zimmerman

Vice President, Human Resources

Shauna Zimmerman is the leader of Global HR and Administration for the MEMS Business Group at InvenSense (a TDK company), overseeing HR and administrative operations across 13 countries and five legal entities. She partners with senior leadership to shape talent strategy, strengthen organizational capability, and drive process improvements that support global business priorities. 

Since joining TDK in 2017, Shauna has held senior HR leadership roles within the Americas, providing strategic HR counsel and building high-performing teams.  

Prior to TDK, she spent 16 years leading HR for Robert Bosch LLC’s Research and Technology Centers in the U.S., where she scaled the division from 10 to more than 300 employees. 

With more than 25 years of human resources experience, Shauna is known for her focus on talent development, operational excellence, and building leadership pipelines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Santa Clara University.

Dennis Chi

Vice President & General Counsel

Dennis Chi is the VP & General Counsel of InvenSense, partnering with the business to provide counsel and strategic leadership in Commercial Transactions, Intellectual Property Strategy & Practice, Trade, Compliance, Licensing, Litigation Management, Regulatory, Employment and Risk Management, as well as M&A activity. Since joining InvenSense in 2014, he has focused his efforts on building and leading a forward-thinking legal organization with best-in-class support for both business facilitation and risk management.  

Prior to joining InvenSense, he has held roles at Broadcom, Hewlett-Packard, and the law firm Jones Day.  

He holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a dual-major B.A. degree in Philosophy and Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. 

Claus Stetter

Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Corporate Marketing

Claus brings over two decades of experience in global sales, marketing, and business development across MEMS, sensing, and microphone technologies. He joined TDK InvenSense in 2022 as VP of Sales for the Americas and EMEA and was promoted to VP, Worldwide Sales and Corporate Marketing in April 2025.  

Before TDK, Claus held senior leadership roles at DSP Group, Aspinity, and Vesper MEMS, where he drove the launch of piezoelectric MEMS microphones and key design wins. Earlier, at Bosch Sensortec, he led North America sales to more than $250M in annual revenue. He began his career in product marketing at Broadcom and Vitesse.  

Claus grew up Germany and holds an M.S.E.E. from the University of Reutlingen in Germany. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
