He brings to the role a comprehensive understanding of market trends in the consumer, IoT and automotive technology sectors. Mr. Panush joined InvenSense Corporate Development in 2015 from Qualcomm, where he ran the IoT embedded connectivity business. Prior to that, Mr. Panush led the automotive business at Atheros, a leading WLAN SoC company. Since joining InvenSense, Mr. Panush has held the roles of GM of the Motion and Pressure Business Unit (MPBU), Chief Operating Officer and Deputy GM.
“For the past year, Amir has led the largest business units of InvenSense, as well as all infrastructure functions for the TDK MEMS Business Group. He has helped not only revitalize the business and customer wins, but has also inserted operational discipline into the company, in order to drive future profitability,” stated Behrooz Abdi. “I am very confident that Amir is the right leader to take the MEMS Sensor business at TDK to great new heights. I also look forward to helping TDK in its strategic direction in the next phase of the company.”
“I’m grateful for what Behrooz has accomplished, together transforming InvenSense from a single product company with rapid growth in the mobile phone market, through multiple M&A’s, the acquisition and integration by TDK, and the start of the re-growth as a diversified MEMS system business with world class MEMS, System on Chip (SoC) and software expertise,” said Amir Panush. “I am excited to lead the best MEMS sensor team in the industry, as we continue on an aggressive growth path in the next phase of TDK’s MEMS sensor business. I look forward to working with Behrooz in both our new roles.”
