TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) announces that Sahil Choudhary, Director of Product Management at InvenSense, a TDK Group company, received the 2023 Emerging Leader Award from the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group (MSIG) and Semi. The award recognizes the next generation of rising stars in the sensor industry. Winners were announced during an award ceremony at the MEMS and Sensors Executive Congress in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, November 7th.
With extensive experience in the sensor industry, Choudhary has driven growth in key strategic areas for the company, namely expansion into IoT markets, geographical regions such as India and EMEA, and most importantly software solution building, with a key focus on AI/ML. He has managed >$50M businesses with a double-digit growth rate. He also led the launch of multiple groundbreaking TDK products, including a premium IMU with BalancedGyro and on-chip intelligence for AR/VR and TWS, as well as TDK’s first multi-sensor wireless module, SmartBug and its next iteration SmartBug 2.0. Choudhary’s contributions have been recognized industry-wide, previously winning awards such as Best IoT Product of the Year at Sensors Expo in 2020 and Best Data Acquisition Product of the Year in 2022. He has made a significant impact outside of TDK, co-chairing the SEMI MSIG Smart City Taskforce and presenting on sensor challenges and trends at various conferences.

Choudhary has a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
